Holiday in Surabaya

Last Friday, I went to Surabaya when I got a holiday. Surabaya is a big city. I used to stay there when I was young. There are many interesting places in Surabaya. I visited a lot of places in Surabaya, such as Royal Plasa, Surabaya zoo, Tunjungan Plasa, Taman Hiburan Rakyat (THR), Indo Plasa, Matahari Department Store, Tugu Pahlawan, ITC and many others.

My activities started at 6.45 p.m. time in Bali. I took a flight by Garuda Indonesia Airways from Denpasar to Juanda airport. I arrived in Surabaya at 6.30 p.m. Bali and Surabaya have different time. When it is 6.00 in Surabaya, it is 7.00 in Bali. In Surabaya, I met my father, brothers and sisters. And then, we spent the time by telling about our own family. I was very happy there because I could meet all the members of my family and relatives.

I did some activities in Surabaya, I bought a set of notebook. I visited my old friends and I met my partner of business.

Upsst . . . . I met my old friend girl.

Oh ... no.... don’t worry, everything it is O.K, because I just said hallo.

My journey finished on Monday at 6.10 a.m. I come back to Denpasar by Garuda Indonesia Airways. I arrived at Ngurah Rai airport at 8.30 a.m. and then l continue to learn English at IALF.

The first activity on 28 Novenber 2007, start by haw to use WTA Papua bloger(Johan 8.45 to 10 am). After that we continued our study in class, we guested what the sentences or words. And then found adjective sentences. After that we corrected wrong sentence (Kate 10 to 12 am).
We continued our class about Bertha story. Bertha was the best girl, she was polite, never late in her class. She had invited from King Leopord, but she died.

My name is Rustamaji. I was born in Trenggalek at east of Java in 1973. I love reading and listening to Java Music it’s called Campursari. I have three younger brothers and two brothers. The younger brothers was born in 1975, 1980 and the last brother in 1982. My parents is farmer with a small path of land. In 1980, my parents moved from Java to Merauke of Papua. They were Joint by transmigrasi of government RI program.

I started Elementary School in 1981 and finished in 1997. After Elementary school I continued to the Junior High school in Kurik, and I finished in 1990. I moved to Merauke city in 1990 because in kurik wasn’t high school. In Merauke city, I lived in family house. I worked at home in the morning and I started studies to school in after 12:00. In three year, I finished a high school.

In 1993, I continued to the Cenderawasih of University in Jayapura, because in Merauke wasn’t a University at the year. I accepted a Physic Program in Cenderawsih University. It’s diploma programs. I finished a diploma program for three year exactly. In 1995 until 1998, I tough in SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura and SMA Teruna Dharma Jayapura.. In 1997, I continued to scholar program in Cenderawasih University and graduated in 1999.

I was acceptance as employee and tough in SMP negeri 5 Arso. Arso was about 75 km from Jayapura city. I lived in Abepura of Jayapura . I went to Arso in Monday morning and came back to Jayapura in Thursday afternoon every week.

In beginning 1999, I married with my best friend at studying in University. Her name Ida Wahyuni and she is teacher in SMP Negeri 11 Jayapura. At last 1999, we have a daughter. Her name Titis Ayu Wardahani called “Titis” and third in elementary school now. In 2001, I moved work to SMA Negeri 3 Jayapura. We have a son in 2003. Him name Krisna Dwi Wardhana called “Nanang” and a playgroup now. We were a house rent in all years but now we were a small house in Perumnas I Waena. My name is ROBERTO ANTONI BANUNDI, S.Pd and I am a teacher of chemistry. I was born in 1978 in Sarmi, I have brother who is two years younger than I am, and a sister who is eight years younger than I am. I have three sisters and five brothers. There are eleven of us in my family. And than my father is a teacher and my mother is a housewife.

I started school 1984 in Sarmi, we moved house in 1990 to Jayapura, and I change school. After the following years I finished elementary school, and continue junior high school and finished in 1994, I finished senior high school and started University in 1997, That is I meet a good friend the name is Basir Laili, He worked the LPMP in PAPUA. At the moment I was experience many problem, but that is all became sweet memory in my live.

In 2003 I left University and I started to work and appointment in SMA YPPK ASISI Sentani. I got married in 2006, my wife is name Septin Mendila,S.Pd, from Tanah Toraja. She worked in SMA Negeri I Sentani Jayapura. Now I worked in Duty P and P regency Jayapura and Province Papua, and I started school in IALF Bali in 2007.

Naftali Tahir, I was born in Tampo Simbuang village, Tana Toraja south Sulawesi in 1976. I have one sister and three brothers.. My parents was farmer. we often helped our parents, I always pleased to shepherd buffaloes and goats.

I started to study elementary school in 1982,named SD Tarangga, then six years, I studied in the junior high school Tampo Simbuang ,for three years, after back at home, all friends we helped became shepherd and worked in the garden on the time exactly.

When I studied senior high school, I rarely helped my parents but only in holiday because my school would far rather from at home, after pass an examination. I followed selection in Hasanudin University but unsuccess. Exactly, Juli 1996. I was to move to Manado north Sulawesi. The first September 1996, I started lecture at faculty mathematic and science, I happened to choose mathematic department. Nearly, every years after pass an examination subject, I enjoyed holiday with together families in the home village. I followed an examination a graduated on 17 march 2001 in Institute Trainning Teachers and Education Manado in Tondano, Before, I was graduated, I was followed competition scholarly paper for university eastern Indonesia in university Gorontalo province Gorontalo, in my life as regard most impressive.

I selected employee of goverment formation 2003 regency Jayapura, more than for three years work .September 2007 we selected student teachers for school standart of international. And now, we trained English as preparative go to Australia later.

My Biography

I was born on 21 November 1961 in small village in the island Manokwari Papua Province. I started into elementary school in 1969 to passed examination in 1975 and I left to junior high school in 1978. And then I started in senior high school and examination in 1982. I studied Indonesian Language on the FKIP at Cenderawasih of University during four years.

In 1989, I started working to become the teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Genyem in the district Genyem of a remote Jayapura town. After eight years, I moved to Jayapura city and I worked at SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura. I became to the teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura for six years, then I worked as a headmaster in SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura to start in 2004 until now. Then I continued to postgraduate at Human Resources Management in Cenderawasih of University in 2005. In 2006, I left to postgraduate.

And now, I am studying English for six months at IALF Bali before going to Australia for training.

My name is Anton Djoko Martono, and jusc call him Mr. Anton. I was born in Madiun in 1967 and his parents is from Madiun. I had three brothers and three sisters. When I was two years old, my brother was born.

My name Joko Yohanis, I was born in Manokwari on February 8^th, 1976. My childhood usually happy. I like played on the farm and we like fishing in the river because my father is a farmer . In 1982 my sister born and 1983 I started school at Elementary School in SD Inpres Oransbari. After go back school I helped my father shepherd cow in the field. Usually I shepherd together with my friends, at the same time we played football in field, In 1986 my last brother born , In 1989 I left Elementary School. And then I continued study at Junior High School in SMP Negeri 1 Oransbari, In 1992 I left Junior High School. And then I moved to Manokwari continued study at Senior High School at SMA Negeri I Manokwari. At Manokwari I started stand alone study because I lived very far from my parent. In 1995 I left Senior high school in Manokwari and then I moved in Jayapura for continued study in college. In September 1998 I left Diploma and then I continued study make scholar. My name is Indrawati Malino. I was born in Jayapura – Papua in May 1978 as a first child. My father’s job was a teacher in primary school and my mother worked in education and culture office in Wamena. When I was 2,5 years old, my sister was born. Sometimes my father was sick, we moved to Jayapura. Next, my brother was born in 1982. We were complete and happiness full. But, when I was 4,5 years old and my brother was 6 months, my father was died. We were very sad. For one year we lived in Jayapura and the following year we came back to Wamena.

In 1984, I started school in SD Negeri Wamena. I was noise child and naughty, but I had good rate. I left SMA Negeri I Wamena in 1996 and continued at University Cenderawasih (Uncen) Jayapura. Before, I wanted to be a doctor, but didn’t support so I decided at Uncen to study chemistry subject. In 2000, I worked part time as a finance of administration in NGO for HIV/AIDS. I enjoyed, because I met many people from different background, and I met boyfriend. And then we wanted to have a serious relationship. For 2,5 years I worked in NGO.

I had some important moment in 2003. The first I graduated in September, then I got married to a Batak man in December. His name is Jan Rico Siregar. After that I had new job as a teacher. My family were very happy. Thanks God for Your bless in my life.

The following year, I returned to Wamena, and I have a daughter in October 2004. Her name is Karen Syalomariella Indri Siregar (3). We called Karen. Then, I started to teach chemistry subject in SMA Kristen Wamena. So far, I loved my job although I was difficult to teach. My students were poor background. They didn’t have good education in primary and junior school, so they were difficult to learn in senior high school. I taught part time in STIPER and SMK Negeri at the afternoon and the evening. Sometimes I attended workshop teachers in Jayapura and three years I assisted XII IPA class specially Wamenan students to continue in university.

In September 2007, I followed selection teacher to Standard International School. And now, I live in Bali to learn English at IALF for 6 months. We started learn in Oktober 2007. I'm very happy but sad too, because I must leave my family. My husband working at Govarmant Office Yahukimo and he work part time as a journalist. My daughter live in Wamena with my mother. I know it's a choose but I'm sure can do it. I hope to be successful in my life.

I was born in small village in Tana Toraja on 6 June 1972. My name is RUDOL TAMMUBUA and I am teacher of mathematics. I love playing badminton and chess. My father was a farmer and mother is a housewife. I had a older brother, four sisters and two younger brother. We were born in Tana Toraja.

In 1979 I started school at elementary school and at junior school in 1985 in Pangala Tana Toraja. After finished from junior school, I went to Jayapura in 1988, then I continued studies at senior haigh school at SMA Gabungan Kristen Katolik Jayapura. In 1991 I studied in Jayapura at Cenderawasih University at mathematics subject.

I started work in Jayapura at SMP Kristen Kalam Kudus Jayapura in 1996 as a teacher. Then in 1999, I was changed work place to SMP Negeri 2 Makki in Wamena Jayawijaya.

I got married on 14 December 2000 in Palopo in the South Sulawesi province, and now I have a son, named Devry Robin Tammubua. My son was born on 18 November in Wamena. Once again I changed work place from SMP Negeri 2 Makki to SMA Negeri 1 Wamena in 2001 and I work there until now.

I was born in Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta in 1966 and in 1968 my brother Ari Prastono was born. When I was four years old, we moved house from Yogyakarta to Banyumas region of Central Java and in 1970 my sister Anis Wahyuningsih was born. When my sister Anis was two years old, my sister Asih Praptiwi was born. In 1973 I started elementary school in SD Negeri 3 Kuntili region of Banyumas. After six years was learnt, I leaved elementary school and started junior high school in SMP Negeri 2 Sumpiuh region of Banyumas. In 1983 I finished junior high school and started senior high school in SMA Negeri 1 Kroya region of Cilacap central Java. In 1985 I met a special friend and that my special friend becomes my wife. In 1986 I finished senior high school and started university Tamansiswa in Yogyakarta. I got married in 1992 and in 1993 I leaved university, in this year I had a son name Yogi Wahyu Aji. When my son two years old, we went to Wamena Irian Jaya I worked as temporary teacher in SMA Kristen Wamena, in 1997 I had permanent teacher job in SMP Negeri 3 Kurima Wamena . In 1999 I had a daughter named Erika Nugrahingsih, she was born in Abepura Jayapura. Then in 2000 we moved home and teacher job in SMA Negeri 3 Jayapura we live in teacher housing. In April 2005 my mother died when she was sixty-nine years old and after seventy-two days my father died when he was sixty-seven years old. In October 2007 I went to Denpasar Bali learnt English in IALF.

My name is Achmad Syafik, but people usually called Syafik. In 1967, I was born in Surabaya, east Java. Badminton and football is my hobbies. With two brothers and two sisters, we are the big family. my brothers was born in 1973, 1976 and my sisters in 1970, 1983.

I started elementary school in 1973 and finished in 1980. After elementary school by continued to the junior high school in SMPN 6 Surabaya, finished in 1983. For three years, then I finished at senior high school (SMAN 4 Surabaya ) in 1986. One year later, I choose diploma in Institut Tehnologi Surabaya ( ITS ) and finished in 1990.

In 1991, I moved to Serui, Irian Jaya and I have been teaching physics for 17 years. At the age of thirty I get married to a woman from Makasar, South Sulawesi. She is a young woman and a beautiful woman.

My name is Celina Erni Sukarminingsih, called selly. I was born thirty-four years ago in wagethe a remote Nabire regent in Papua Province. My parents were from java but they worked in wagethe. My father was a government employee as a teacher and my mother was a temporary teacher. When I was three months my parents moved in Nabire

At the age of five year, I had a little sister. I felt very happy because the first time I had sister. I started to school when I was six years old. I loved a mathematic.

Next year my brother was born. After two years my father continued his school at UNCEN Jayapura. So my family moved to Jayapura but I didn’t. I went to Yogyakarta and stayed with my grandfather for three years. In 1983, I had brother again but I couldn't see him because I was In Yogyakarta. After I finished my elementary school I continued my School In Jayapura. My last sister was born in 1986. Now I have two sisters and two brothers. My parents didn’t rich but we had a comfortable life. I promise to make them happy. My Childhood was very happy.

My father graduated in 1990 then my family came back to Nabire but I didn’t. I finished my senior high School and started to study at University in 1991. I studied Social Economic agriculture at UNCEN Manokwari. But at the first year I got scholarship from CIDA Canada to study mathematic at IPB (Bogor Agriculture Institute). So I continued to study math at IPB. I worked part time as a private course teacher and help students from SMK Baranangsiang dormitory to learn mathematics. I became a member of choir church in Cathedral Bogor. Sometimes, we sang on a wedding day to accompany a couple of bride and bride broom in the church. We followed a competition choir church and we got second order.

I graduated in 1999 and then came back to Nabire. At the same year I got married to a Javanese man, his name is Theodorus H.Soekotjo and I worked as a math temporary teacher at SMA Adhiluhur. Besides I opened math courses in my house.

In 2000, I was pregnant but miscarriage. I felt very sad. But thanks God after five month I was pregnant again. Now my daughter is six years old. Her name is Maria Hani Murtiningtyas. I love her very much.

In 2001, my husband got a new task from his office in Timika. So we moved to Timika. I tried to get a job in Timika. I worked as a temporary teacher at SMP Bernadus and SMA Catholic. But in last 2002, I accepted to government employee as a math teacher at SMA N 1 Nabire. So I and my daugther moved back in Nabire. Then my husband got a new task again from his office in Nabire. Now we stay in Nabire.

On September 2007, I followed a test recruitment teacher for standard international school. And on October, I had a big prize on my birthday. I had a ticket to go to Bali. It was amazing. I can’t believe it because I visited a Bali Island. I went to Bali because I selected the test. We must be following an English language course for six months. Now I am here at IALF Bali.
